Welcome to Youth With A Mission Haiti! We are a community of long and short term missionaries who believe that God can change Haiti to be a blessing. We run a multitude of ministries which YOU can be a part of!
He Ran the Race
This afternoon, Evens Charles left a body that was tired, sick, and mortal, for a spiritual body of strength, beauty, and immortality.
He is now with Jesus.
Evens was known for his devotion to his mother and family, she often told us how he took care of her when she was sick
Evens served the Lord with his whole heart.
He worked in our maintenance department for over a year, helping the inner workings of the campus function so the kingdom of God could continue to grow. He also served in prison ministry bringing those physically behind bars into spiritual freedom with Jesus Christ. Evens was also a member of our worship team whose ultimate desire was to see people enter into the presence of God.
Heaven is so much sweeter with Evens there.
Evens’ family and our YWAM family believe that in healing or in passing, Evens wins. We grieve his departure and miss his presence, but we rejoice that he is whole, perfect, and has finished a race that we all continue to strive in for the Glory of God.
Please continue to pray for his family as they mourn. Pray for strength, peace, and ultimately, joy.
Evens’ family does not have all the necessary funds for his burial. We need $3,000 USD to do a proper funeral. Would you consider donating?
Checks can be made out to ‘YWAM Haiti’ and sent to:
PO Box 236
Akron, PA 17501
Any funds raised above the $3,000, will be passed on to Evens’ mother. As her first born, he has felt the responsibility to care for her, and we know that was his desire.
Thank you for your continued prayer.
We are only $11,800 short of giving our large campus the electric system it needs! We’ve bought the electric poles, generator and wires already, and the I-TEC team is here. Help us finish this!
ITEC has started the process of installing our new electrical system! The ITEC team along with some of our staff are working hard to get the new electric system for our campus put in. Go team!
