Teach Us! (Call to Assist)
Teach Us! (Call to Assist)

Hello Everyone,

As I sat in the home of the Commissar de Government of St. Marc (Head man of the Judicial Services) I challenged him. Why are you a part of the Masonic Lodge? “Maybe I wouldn’t have been if you would have told me about Christ before I joined.” He responded.

As I continued on we came to a conclusion. He and the judicial services of St. Marc needed a higher power to assist them and that could only come from the one true God who sent his son Jesus to die for the sins of the world. It was agreed and accepted to receive biblical teaching concerning God’s role in the courts. However, this teaching was not to be only for the Commissar de Government but for all the Judicial Department in which he over sees in St. Marc. He agreed to make this teaching available to all his staff by sending them a personal invitation to hear and participate in such a seminar. WOW!

Yet, not only that, but as my conversation went on I came to discover something I was unaware of. Our Commissar de Government is the leader of one of the Masonic Lodges in our city. So, I took another bold step and asked if it wouldn’t be good to do a seminar concerning the ways of God for his Masonic Lodge. He agreed whole heartedly and responded by saying “You’re a Father in our city I must listen to what you have to teach us!”

Since that day we continue to plan and pray about timing and who should be involved in this key time of teaching. While we continue to plan I have seen nothing but support and respect from this man. He will not greet me nor introduce me without saying “Father”.

What is happening! Is this the transformation that we have believed for? Well, it’s steps to it anyway.

I am sorry I have not sent out more updates lately. It hasn’t been due to the lack of continued advancement or even ease of advancement. We, as a ministry have been beyond busy restructuring. We are realizing that if we are going to continue, we need to re-enforce our structure as it relates to our inner heart, daily walk and practical application!

The DTS (Discipleship Training School) continues with great depth. I can not recall ever seeing one of our DTS’s programs in Haiti moving into the depths of the students hearts the way this one has been. Challenges of motivation of the heart have been a strong focal point as I believe God wants to transform the in most areas of these students. Please pray that God will complete His perfect work in their lives.

Also, we have seen God help us in the building of a new Fish Market for the Community. This market is hitting a heart felt need of the people of our city and has given us even greater influence into lives.

I do not want to make this email long in hopes that you will be able to quickly read it and join us in praise to God over His marvelous works in Haiti. We have had some real challenges in these past days, but we always seem to come through them as we focus on the greatness of our God with a grateful heart concerning what he has done. So, please join us in giving thanks and may the enemy of our hearts and souls flee before the shouts of joy!

We have Taken the High Places! We Now Must Disciple the Nation!
