Update Terry and Illioney made it to PA ok (Tuesday); did better than expected. Right now they are still feeling sick (Thursday afternoon); no appetite, aches and pains still, tired and wore out physically. But they got to see a Dr. today and he said they are doing ok, considering the situation. Terry’s test came out a bit off on one of his liver reports (he was not sure what it was) but that is to be expected at this point. He will have another test done next week before heading back. If levels are still high, further tests are needed to see if there is permanent damage.
We trust in the Lord but have been looking forward to a fruitful fundraising time on this trip so we hope and pray that healing and strength to their bodies will come quickly. We don’t want to see the enemy rob us in any way whether it be robbing the health of our directors or of vital financial support and backing for the work we are already in the middle of and for what we know lies ahead. This is such a crucial time in the history of this city and nation; a window of opportunity for root change to take place, for new ideas, and Christian morals and principles to really take hold in the minds of leaders in the city. But our enemy is apparently not asleep and has yet again tried another of his clever tricks. We serve a powerful God though and trust He will move on our behalf so He can be glorified and stand victorious in the end. That’s all that really matters anyway.
We know the saints are gathered because we feel your prayers; thank you!
Pursuing the high places!
