This will be short and to the point. We need your prayers this morning!
As of yesterday Freeman Nettles, brother in-law, was admitted into a local hospital due to pneumonia. One of his lungs was already half full of fluid. This is a serious situation. We are asking you to join us in prayer for healing and for encouragement and comfort to his wife, Shelly, and their three children. Freeman is currently in charge of the Slaughter House in the Saint Marc Market and is developing a new men’s discipleship program to see train men how to be Godly men, Godly husbands and Godly fathers.
Currently, I am in Ft. Lauderdale at a strategy meeting with the Caribbean Leadership Team (CLT) for Youth With A Mission. Illioney, Base Director, has been doing a fabulous job of assisting the Nettles and rallying the staff to pray and help also, but we would like to see more prayer from abroad.
At the same time I would also like to invite you too pray for our all day meetings with the CLT. We are asking God to give us His heart, plans and strategy to see the whole of the Caribbean won and mobilized for the “Great Commission”.
Meanwhile, I would like to thank the ones who have already responded to the call to assist with Christmas Dinner for the poor and needy. If you are planning to send a gift to assist the feeding of a family or individual at only $2 USD per person, we would like to ask you to reply to this email with the number of people you are planning to assist through a contribution. This will help us in our planning to feed as many as is possible.
I have to the liberty to resend, see below, the information of our project for showing the gift of love and Christ to the poor and needy this season. I appeal to you to help us show this love to as many as possible!
Sincerely

A call to bless the poor this Holiday Season!
We are feeling God’s leading to assist in bringing hope to the hopeless and a smile on many faces this Christmas. We have come up with a plan to feed large number of people while boosting the economy. We would like to ask you to pray about purchasing a plate of food for the poor this Christmas. For just $2 USD we could provide a very nice Christmas Dinner for one of 5,000 people in our neighborhood. The food preparation will be arranged by local cooks and restaurants and tickets will be given to individuals that will be recipients of your gift, with directions on where they can receive their FREE Christmas Dinner.
By purchasing food and hiring the local cooks in the community we will not only bring a smile to hungry faces, but we will also be boosting the economic structure of our neighborhood. $2 will bring a two fold blessing, the filling of a hungry stomach and needed income for local businesses!
How many Christmas dinner could you provide to share the gift of love? The average family size in St. Marc is five. So, for every $10 gift you are basically feeding a complete family this Christmas! Thank you in advance for sharing the gift of love in response to God’s gift of love to the world, Jesus Christ!
Taking the High Places for Christ!
