Update on Freeman

Freeman is now home from the hospital. The treatment for pneumonia is running its course well. He will stay at home for one week to finish the antibiotics before allowed to go back into action. His family is happy to have him home as we all are. Thank you for your continued prayers for his health.

Election Results

Still there seems to be a big question as to who won the elections as votes are being counted. Please keep this matter in prayer as things have often gone wrong during these times and we don’t want the election stolen, but the right person in position.

People are often asking me; “What happens if the desired candidate doesn’t win?” my response; “It will not mean that God will not move or we will not be able to do anything, but it will determine how big the river will flow, so make a good choice!”

Christmas Dinner is getting organized!

We want to say thank you again to all those who are sponsoring a meal for a needy person in St. Marc. There will be many happy faces this Christmas! We are beginning to get more organized today in our preparations for this event. In many ways we must keep things quiet as possible so their will not be difficulties in control. So you may join us in prayer for this and that the arrangements move in a blessed way. If you would still would like to help with a dinner you may email us and let us know how much you are sending. This will let us prepare better. $10 USD serves five people! See directions below for mailing in your contribution.

Gathering brings record numbers!

With all the many things happening last week with elections, Freeman’s health and the Caribbean Leaders Meeting in Fort Lauderdale I had not mentioned the large evangelistic and Christian gathering that took place too. Yet, it was one of the most powerful times of Christians coming together in St. Marc in some time.

We have not been able to get a specific number of salvations, but it was reported of people coming forward nightly. The closing night our Stadium was overflowing into the street! There was no aisle to walk down no place to move, from the front to the back wall and even behind the stage. People pressed in like I had not seen before. ,Adult’s, Teenagers and Children listening and expierence the message and touch of God, lifting their hands with sincerity. God came and transformed our lives and the city. It was in a word “Intense!”

The meeting had been barred by many of the Pastors of St. Marc. Yes barred! Many of the Pastors told the people not to come to this meeting as the main speaker “Pastor Taylor” (Haitian Evangelist from Port-Au-Prince) had spoken in a gathering last year about “wolves in sheep clothing”. The Leaders of the League of Pastors felt it needed a debate as to what Pastor Taylor meant and they decided that he should not return to the city as they felt his comments were directed at them and they didn’t like it. I however stood up and declared, let the light shine and told them if it is true, deal with it, if it isn’t, it will not last. I also declared he can preach the gospel anytime at our campus. We had a bit of a falling out as you can imagine.

I have learned it is not wise to silence someone that is preaching truth. His message was not directly pointed at any one person or a group of people to my understanding and knowledge. How are we to hear God if we can’t receive critical challenges?

Well, my thinking must have been true, or the idea that if you tell someone not to do something, they will surely find a way to do it, because they came in large numbers! But even more important God came! I understand that their may have been some reconciliation happen with the League but not sure. I do know that Pastor Taylor said publicly that he had no problems with the Pastors in St. Marc. So, the ball is in their court for sure.

I would like to ask you to join us in prayer for the League of Pastors. They are still struggling and need realigning as I know they have said various things negatively concerning us as well. How do you pray? Pray for humility! That is what we, the Pastors and all the people in St. Marc need, yet even the world!

DTS is coming soon!

Our Discipleship Training School (DTS) is just a month away. I will be sending you more information in my next update. This is a powerful training program that develops character and purpose in the lives of young people. Would you like to help sponsor a student?

Benin, Africa!

Please continue to pray for our Haitian team from Jacmel as they go to the French Consulate this week. They are seeking to gain a transit visa to pass through France on their way to Benin. They have received their Benin visa’s already! They are also $4,000 short in having all the money needed to make the voyage, but we know God is faithful!
