HOPE FOR THE RESTORATION

Kings Kids ministry is a central part of YWAM’s work in Gonaives. We have 60 active youth and another 140 enrolled in the ministry.

Recently we felt God’s power to combat the spirit of hopelessness with a spirit of hope in God’s ability to bring restoration.

As a result we held a special time in Alliance Francaise (a theater court) performing drama and music with YWAM Jacmel’s DTS. After words they handed out tracks and invited people to another location for an additional meeting where they heard more preaching. 14 people accepted Christ and a number reported being healed.

Testimony: “I thought God didn’t care about me, as I looked at the financial crisis of the nation, many of children discouraged and backslidden. I was so depressed. But when a young girl (Kings Kids member) handed me a track with a smile and kindness, it changed my heart so much. Now I want to witness to others, even for the rest of my life!”
