Update- February Update on Lubens:
Lubens seems to have had a full recovery with no bruises, broken bones or cuts, but he has been a little sore in his neck. This is amazing to hear after being involved in a head on collision and totalling of the truck. Thank you for your prayers they were effective.
The YWAM vehicle is a total lose. With an outreach team coming next week this is a difficult time to be without a vehicle. Pray that God will help us know what to do and that He will provide.
Outreach teams advancing the Kingdom of God in St. Marc;
Germany joins the Haiti challenge!
YWAM Germany sent us a team of 10 to spread the news of Christ love through drama and practical services. They began their outreach time with a week in Gonaives and are now in St. Marc.
Since being in St. Marc, they have preformed dramas in a number of schools, market areas, parks, intersections and even on TV. The dramas have been widely received and we have seen salvations.
In addition, they have done a lot of cleaning and painting in public locations and around the mission campus.
Currently they are in a village up in the mountains above St. Marc. While there, they are camping out and living with the local people.
Ephrata, PA Team
A team from Ephrata Community Church joined us this past week for a time of ministry. They provided teaching in our DTS and Pastor's Seminar, prayed and did one on one ministry with our staff and others. Thank you guys! What a blessing and we could use more of this.
Benny Prasad and his Bentar!
Benny Prasad is a little man from India, but a big man in God! Benny was considered the least in his family and yet God transformed him in a wonderful way. Since surrendering his life to Christ he has invented a new style guitar that has been named the Bentar. It consists of 6 instruments in one, looking similar to a guitar but so different.
Benny, with his Bentar, was an invited guest at the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2005 World Cup. While visiting us in Haiti he was able to give his testimony and play his Bentar inside the Ministry of Justice, which is significant as Haiti is consider the number two most corrupt nation in the world.
Benny also played his Bentar for the former administration of St. Marc and preformed two concerts in St. Marc. The concerts were benefit concerts to help raise money for the construction of a second city gate located at the north entrance of our city. In addition a number of people raised their hands to accept Christ as their personal Savior after hearing Benny’s testimony.
More to come!
