Dicipleship Training School
Lucy, DTS director, recently shared on a unique development that has been happening among this year’s DTS students. Several of the students are from the St. Marc area and recently shared some insights they have been having. Because of past disunity among the churches in Haiti, these guys saw themselves as coming from different worlds because of their different church backgrounds. Through their learning and growth together in this DTS it has been opening their eyes to how this disunity among the churches has really affected the kingdom of God. They have been talking a lot about getting the churches to work together and seem dedicated to seeing this happen after they finish their DTS. These guys have proven themselves to be good stewards and workers and it is our hope they will go on to be leaders in their churches and bring this heart of unity with them.
Outreach plans are underway for Jamaica and Haiti. In Jamaica the DTS will be working with handicapped children, working at the YWAM conference in May as well as other evangelistic drama opportunities. They are still awaiting visas for Jamaica and $2000 for student’s fees to go on outreach.
