Prayer Needed!
Prayer Needed!
           Hello Everyone,

We are seeing some very profound spiritual battles happening these days and we would like to extend an invitation to join us in prayer!

We have been working very hard in sanitation and security within St. Marc. By working to practically see improvements to these two areas, we have been praying that this would be a prophetic demonstration to the population of St. Marc of God’s heart for them. For example; In a similar fashion in which we exposed and then removed hidden or ignored garbage, God would expose hidden or ignored sinful areas of our hearts.

This week we have faced an abnormal amount of accusations, all lies. We have stood under the Blood, the Word of our Testimony, and have not shrunk under evil men’s threats (Rev. 12:10-11). Yet we need your prayers.

Working with the Mayor and many supporters through out the city we have seen a serious sanitation/health crisis in the way of the market. Meat is being sold on top of mud holes, sewer, and garbage. I know this is hard for many of you to believe but it is true and has been happening for some time. Why people shop there is a mystery, but since we began a media campaign to expose this health concern, business there has dropped dramatically.

The Mayors are attempting to tighten the regulations forcing these vendors to relocate into the official Meat Market (sanitary area provided to sell meat). Yet an up-cry emerged that we had not heard before. “Where are we going to bury our voodoo trinkets?”

These vendors pay witchdoctors for these trinkets to give them success and protection from theft and insecurity. These trinkets are normally buried under the tables where the vendor sits and sells. The new market, built by Youth With A Mission, has a cement floor.

It would appear God is exposing the reality of the voodoo influence and the grip it still has on people. People are seemingly willing to sell and buy meat, while standing in garbage, for fear of not appeasing the voodoo spirits. Now is the time for the church to rally and pray!

Meanwhile Esther Dodge, a volunteer for the mission, has felt lead of God to rally people to join in a prayer chain. We’re asking for prayer for more than just this one issue, but the broader vision of seeing transformation come to every area of society in St. Marc. I am attaching the information letter to this email for your convenience. You may want to hang it up in your church, read it at your prayer group or Bible study, even pass it to friends. Please email anything the Lord gives you; scriptures, visions, thoughts etc, to the email address provided.

Let us PRAY! Taking the High Places!
