Evangelistic Gathering update
Evangelistic Gathering update

Our First Night of our evangelistic gathering was extraordinary in the sense of the numbers of people that came. With more than 5,000 in attendance it was a new record for us in regards to a opening night of an evangelistic gathering of this nature. The air was energized with enthusiasm. Not only was it a recorded in opening attendance but we started on time and the schedule we had prepared held its course and concluded as expected! Nothing was cut short in anyway, just all went peaceful and smooth. All of us were amazed and a bit perplexed at the awesomeness of it. May God receive the glory!

The event is taking place at our Youth With A Mission Campus (Jeunesse en Mission) here in St. Marc. We have 1.7 acres of land set a part with a large covered gymnasium that has become ideal for such an event! The foundations were laid this first night for the ongoing message of our desire to see God rebuild our hearts that our city may be rebuilt. This message is being greatly received!

The only problems we encountered last night was our failing generator that died out four times during the meetings. It put a small discomfort on the lighting and sound situation for about 5 to 10 minutes each time, but it didn’t stop the momentum of the movement. However, join us in praying for a new generator. We need one that is able to pull 60kw and a new one cost $15,000.00USD

Second Night it rained. You would normally think this would kill the numbers and possible the nights activities except for a few die hard people who will come rain or shine, but not last night. Knowing that we had a large sheltered roof kept the momentum rolling in people making their way through the mud and rain. We still started with about 2,000 in the beginning, but time the message was ready to be preached we were back at 5,000 again! I personally must say I was shocked and the level of desire the people have been showing to come and cry out to God!

In addition to last night extraordinary events the mayor surprisingly showed up and participated in song and remained through the whole event!

Also, we had the local electric company provide electricity through out the event last night with out a black out! Praise God!

Let us pray for a spiritual awakening in this city of St. Marc!

Taking the High Places!
