Evangelistic Gathering Update #3
Evangelistic Gathering Update #3
            Dear Friends!

It all continues! For the past several nights crowd attendance continue to exceed the normal. God has been with us. Last night the electric went off during an incredible time of worship. It took us about 5 or 10 minutes to get the generator cranking. Over 5,000 people stood still in their places, shouting praises in the dark as we raced to get the lights and sound functioning again. The roar was incredible.

When the lights came on again Evangelist Joseph Telor called the people to fall on their knees and pray. “All you in the stadium and those of you standing on the grass and dirt area outside, kneel down and let us pray!” This intense time of prayer continued for 30 minutes.

There seems to be a cracking in the atmosphere throughout the city. I also took note that many churches are holding special meetings this week. I believe these meetings were preplanned and not focused around the event, but it is interesting how God has drawn so many people in this week to seek Him and pray. Yesterday I witnessed an intercessor group of 50 plus people standing facing the mayor’s office with their arms stretched out praying for God to come. Then they moved down to the sea port entrance and began praying there as well.

Stir this city GOD! Stir every heart!

We have taken another offering, the second in a total of three we will be receiving. Once again, this is not about money or finding money, it is about how God is challenging the poor of Haiti to break their poverty mentality, take ownership of the land God has given them and begin to steward it. Our first offering you may recall was $755.00 USD. The second offering received Thursday night was $1,496.00 USD. Then yesterday as I passed through the city making sure everyone received an invitation and were watching the event, I had people give me money on the spot. An additional $180.00 USD came in.

We would like for all these funds to be used for three projects we are involved with in the city: Restoring the City Park, Sanitation Program, and Security Entrance for the north end of the city.

The last time we did an evangelistic gathering of this nature we spent over $8,000.00USD, but because of the generosity of so many here in country, it looks like this event will cost the mission only $3,500.000US. WOW! We have received donations from other nations to help cover these expenses too. $1,200.00USD has come in so far, but we would like to see if anyone out there feel lead to help us cover the remainder of the cost of this event. Only $2,300.00 is needed! We have been reaching an estimated 350,000 people in the St. Marc area alone, not considering the numbers being reached through the national broadcasting and internet feeds. Would you help us in supporting this movement? All the offerings that are being taken at the event will go directly to the mentioned projects for the city.

If you would like to help practically or spiritually send us an email and let us know how you can assist! Information on making a contribution is listed below. I want to thank you in advance for your contribution in prayer and through practical ways as God continues to move in transforming this city, followed by this nation!
