Medical clinics do more than meet an immediate health need. They reinforce the message of our mission by bringing hope through a physical touch of love. People begin to trust what we say and it continues long after the medical team has departed. As a result, lifestyles begin to change as people apply the biblical truths they have experienced and learned.

One team that came on a short term mission to YWAM Haiti is the New Frontier Health Force (NFHF) led by Dr. Tonya Hawthorne. Through this team people experienced a personal touch, bringing the reality of Christ into their lives. It was encouraging to hear testimonies from different team members in regards to the last days of the clinic held inside our campus walls. In the future we hope to have a full time health training center.

Instead of trying to share the gospel with every person at every station of the clinic, we simply chose to demonstrate His love through a smile, a touch and any loving action we could. By the time they got to the prayer station, the last station, people were asking us how they could become a Christian!”
