using dance to disciple the nations

We believe that God wants to use the arts to bring revival to this generation in Haiti. As these they learn and grow in what they love and are passionate about, God is going to encounter them and this generation will be sent out in the power of the Holy Spirit to change the world.

Our ministry operates in four different areas:

Dance Team

  Our dance team, called Hope for the Generations, is a dynamic group compiled of YWAM Staff and missionary kids who staff and lead all the ministries and events under the Dance Ministry at our YWAM base. We meet twice a week for dance classes and ministry meetings.

3 Phases:

• 1^st year (phase 1): Theme – Royalty: Teachings include identity in Christ, Teamwork,
• 2^nd year (phase 2): Theme – Army of God: Teachings include, personal devotions, worship, prayer, walking by the Spirit, the life of a Believer.
• 3^rd year (phase 3): Theme – to be determined

Our long term vision:

To have 30 new youth entering phase 1 each summer, while running phase 2 and phase 3 that same summer with youth from previous years. This is 90 kids who are being reached and discipled every year!

Our heart is to see these youth complete these Dance Camps and come away with a solid foundation in Christ and in their Character. We believe this will prepare them for being the future missionaries, pastors, teachers, business men, doctors, and world changers.

We also believe this will have make a difference on our YWAM Campus with future Discipleship Schools we will run!
